The University of Florida Levin College of Law has a robust dispute resolution program with courses in international arbitration, domestic arbitration, mediation advocacy, mediation, and negotiation, as well as a mediation clinic. The law school participates in international commercial arbitration and mediation competitions in Vienna, Austria, Sao Paolo, Brazil, and Shanghai and Hong Kong, China. The school has fielded teams to the Vis Moot Competition winning the ICC Paris Pre-Moot in 2018 and the Shanghai Pre-Moot in 2019. The school’s teams have also made it to the quarter finals of the Vis Moot Competition in Hong Kong and Vienna and won numerous oralist honors. Students interested in dispute resolution may participate in ADR focused clubs including Gators for Alternative Dispute Resolution (GADRS) and our ADR Team. The Levin College of Law is proud of our Institute for Dispute Resolution, which continues to provide practical ADR content to its law student and alumni community.
