In addition to maintaining a vibrant practice, Jean Paul is actively involved in the international arbitration community.  He serves as Assistant Editor for Investment Arbitration at the Kluwer Arbitration Blog and as a Regional Representative for Young ICCA, where he contributes to academic discussions and helps organize initiatives connecting young arbitration professionals worldwide.  Outside of work, Jean Paul is passionate about football and a proud Liverpool FC fan.

The international arbitration community stands at a turning point. Disputes increasingly involve algorithms, digital assets, and AI-driven processes. Yet until now, there has been no independent, globally recognized credential to equip arbitrators and practitioners to meet these challenges head-on.

A fixture on the young Miami arbitration circuit, Alain was recently featured as the introductory speaker at the June Young MIAS event “The Florida Advantage: Successful Using Section 1782 Discovery in International Disputes.”
