Holland & Knight's international arbitration team represents clients in a wide range of commercial and investment protection disputes, both in international arbitration proceedings administered by major institutions and under different rules, and in ancillary court proceedings before the federal and state courts of the United States as well as in courts abroad.

Many of the attorneys on the team speak several languages including Spanish, English and French, are licensed in multiple jurisdictions, have received training and worked in various legal systems, and have extensive experience litigating or presiding as arbitrators in commercial and investment arbitration disputes. The Holland & Knight team has represented clients in international arbitrations seated in New York, Miami, Washington D.C., London, Zürich, Madrid, Paris, The Hague, Bogotá, México City and Shenzhen (China), among other cities, and have advised clients in matters administered by the major arbitral institutions, including the ICC, LCIA, ICDR, CIETAC, ICSID, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations and in proceedings administered under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules.

Members of the team also regularly represent clients in court proceedings, both domestic and foreign, seeking to enforce agreements to arbitrate, as well as in ancillary proceedings involving jurisdictional challenges, seeking interim relief, or seeking to confirm (and enforce) or vacate arbitral awards.
