Young MIAS Member Spotlight: Andres Eskenazi Boné!
This month, we’re excited to feature Andres Eskenazi Boné, an attorney in the Miami office of Reed Smith and a member of the firm’s Global Commercial Disputes Group. Andres focuses his practice on international dispute resolution, with experience in international commercial and investment arbitrations, as well as domestic commercial and real estate litigation matters.
A graduate of Florida International University College of Law, Andres earned Dean’s Scholar honors while building an impressive record of advocacy, leadership, and service. During law school, he served as a Staff Editor of the World Arbitration & Mediation Review and was an active member of both the International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team and the Negotiation and Mediation Team.
His leadership roles included serving as Founding President of the Venezuelan American Law Students Association (VENAMLSA) and Vice-President of the Jewish Law Students Association. At graduation, he was recognized with both the Outstanding Service to the International Commercial Arbitration Team award and the Pro Bono Service Medallion.

One of the highlights of Andres’s law school experience was representing FIU Law in the 2024 Moot Madrid competition, where the team advanced to the final rounds for the first time in the program’s history. This experience made him consider a career in arbitration and allowed him to connect with mentors and peers in the arbitration field.
Originally from Venezuela, Andres brings a valuable regional perspective to his international practice and to the Miami arbitration community.
As one of the youngest members of his arbitration team, Andres plays an important role in the organization and management of cases from inception to resolution. Additionally, he has a strong foundation in real estate, inspired by his father and brothers, which makes real estate disputes one of his favorite areas of focus. One of the highlights of his career was attending and participating in a final hearing in an investment-state arbitration at ICSID headquarters in Washington, D.C., a few months ago.
In addition to his growing practice, Andres remains actively engaged in international arbitration and broader legal community. He is a coach to FIU’s International Commercial Arbitration team and serves as a Florida Bar Exam mentor for recent FIU College of Law graduates. He is also a published author with some of his articles published in the World Arbitration and Mediation Review and the University of Denver’s Sports and Entertainment Law Journal. Among his speaking engagements are alumni events organized by the FIU’s Business Law and International Law societies, and Young MIAS latest panel named “paths in international law: the many faces of a global career.”

Outside of work, Andres enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and watching Real Madrid games...
