This month, we’re excited to feature Enrique Molina, an attorney in the Miami office of White & Case and a member of the firm’s International Arbitration Practice Group. With nearly a decade of experience, Enrique focuses his practice on the resolution of complex international disputes, representing and advising clients in investor-State arbitrations under the ICSID, UNCITRAL, and SCC rules; international commercial arbitrations under the ICC, AAA-ICDR, LCIA, HKIAC, and SIAC rules, among others; and in arbitration-related litigations before State and Federal courts in the United States.
Enrique holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School and is admitted to practice law in New York and Florida.
Originally from Mexico, Enrique brings a valuable regional perspective to his international practice and to the Miami arbitration community.
Before joining White & Case, Enrique worked as an investment manager and legal counsel at Omni Bridgeway, a leading litigation finance company, where he ran the arbitration pipeline in Miami from origination through funding and case management. That background now shapes a distinctive part of his practice. He helps clients secure funding for their claims and negotiates the funding agreements that make those claims possible. On the merits side, Enrique gravitates toward disputes in the extractive industry, oil and gas, LNG, and renewable energy, alongside general commercial matters, and he rounds out his practice with pre-dispute strategy and settlement negotiation support. What he enjoys most is seeing a matter through from the first phone call to the final resolution, giving clients one steady hand for the whole journey.
In addition to his growing practice, Enrique remains actively engaged in the international arbitration and broader legal community. He is the Immediate Past Chair of Young MIAS, sits on the Board of MIAS, and serves as an ICC YAAF Regional Representative for North America. He also finds time to write and speak at conferences, has taught arbitration courses, and contributed a chapter to the ICSID Rules and Regulations 2022: Article-by-Article Commentary (C.H. Beck 2022). He is also a regular contributor to the ITA Arbitration Report, tracking Ninth and Eleventh Circuit developments, and stays visible at Miami recruiting and networking events to keep the local arbitration community connected.
Outside of work, Enrique is usually traveling with his wife, chasing their cavapoo Bernardo around on some new adventure, or simply making the most of Miami. Think beach mornings, bike rides, boating, tennis, and working his way through the city’s restaurant scene.
Later this month, he will speak at MIAS's inaugural LatAm Conference. This year's edition is sold out, but there will be more opportunities to attend: each year, the conference will travel to a new host country in South America.

Sol LeWitt tops the list. His grid-based structures follow rigid instructions yet somehow produce something that feels alive and almost chaotic, which is not a bad description of arbitration itself. On the music side, Enrique leans toward songwriters who turn plain language into something that lands hard. Think Radical Face, The Tallest Man on Earth, The Shins, The Lumineers, and Bob Dylan.
Favorite Restaurant in Miami:
Walrus Rodeo for the vibe and the vertical lasagna, Pari Pari for hand rolls done right with zero pretense, Tripping Animals or The Tank for a cold beer done well, and his own backyard for the best pizza and smashburger in town.
Favorite Thing About Practicing International Dispute Resolution in Miami:
Few places let you brief a billion-dollar investor-State case in the morning and be on the beach by lunch. Miami sits at the crossroads of Latin America and the United States, and that mix gives the practice, and the city, an energy few other markets can match.
Favorite Book(s):
Don Quixote, hands down, for life. More recently, Orbital left a mark for its prose alone, and The Year of the Runaways stuck with him long after he finished it.
